Quinta de Freixieiro

The house has 4 twin suites which feature a balcony and beautiful views over the vale. On the ground floor guests can enjoy the salted water infinity pool with views over the vineyards. There is also a double suite on the ground floor, with direct access to the conventual-style courtyard. All rooms have free Wi-Fi access. A breakfast full of local flavours, sometimes with a twist, can be enjoyed at the property. Guests can relax in the shared lounge area, by the swimming pool or walk around the vineyards that surround the house. Free for children up to three years old. Guests can also park their cars in the property, free of charge.

Located in the village of Guardizela, about 15 minutes from Guimarães and 30 minutes from Oporto, comes the Quinta de Freixieiro whose first records date back to the year 1720. It has a Minho manor house, recently restored, which has a unique décor specially based on the memories and stories of all who passed by.
It has vineyards, the woods surrounding the house are full of ancient and exotic trees, and even an infinity swimming pool overlooking the vineyards. We are constantly looking to offer the best experience for our guests and would like them to embrace the relaxing atmosphere of the house.

Besides that, we can still enjoy other pleasures, such as: • Wine and oil producing – “Vinho Verde” from Minho, olive oil and mature wines from the Alentejo.  The “yoga” – there is a room equipped for your practice • Interactive Sharing – once you invite who wishes to do, help, learn and teach, both in the kitchen and in the garden, vegetable garden and even in the vineyards.
