Surrounded by a garden area in total harmony with nature, it has patios and gardens that invite to good moments of relaxation and leisure.
With a privileged situation in the center of Portugal,
near the south bank of the River Tagus, is 5km from the center of Abrantes, about 65km from Fatima and 140km from Lisbon, at the convergence point of Ribatejo, Beiras Litoral and Baixa and Alto Alentejo.
We have 3 bedrooms and 1 suite in the main house and a apartment “A Casinha” in the center of the Quinta courtyard. There is also a meeting room and a swimming pool that reminds us of the times of Romanticism.
Having been in the family for more than a hundred years, it came into the hands of the current owners in the 1980s, who rebuilt it and made it a permanent residence. In the 90’s they decided to dedicate part of the house to housing tourism.
The old lake gave way to an original swimming pool and the hedge, ornamental trees have been replaced by lawns and colorful flowerbeds, although the fountain maintains intact the memories.
The children have not been forgotten, since in addition to the swings and slides in outer space, they can live with nature having contact with our domestic animals.

Prices vary depending on the time of year, type of accommodation and holidays, ranging from € 60 to € 90, and the Casinha from € 120 to € 170.

Abrantes has a lot to offer. Do not forget to visit the historical part of the city, which should naturally include a trip to the Castle, visit the Lopo de Almeida Municipal Museum and the Governors Palace and observe the course of the Tagus River and the surrounding region. Place yourself well in the center of the metal plate that is at the top of the Tower, turn 360º on yourself, and follow the geographic information available. See also if you can discover the Quinta de Coalhos, surrounded by its grove. About 10km from the Quinta. Visit the Almourol Castle in the middle of the Tagus River. Not to miss a visit to the characteristic villages of Sardoal and Constancia.
With prior booking we can organize an experience or a horseback ride, a bit of adrenaline in a karting car, a canoe trip down the Tejo and Zêzere Rivers, a pedestrian circuit or a visit to the river beaches and cascades of rivers and streams in the region.
The farmhouse still has a room for small events and business meetings.
Close to Quinta de Coalhos is Pego village, known for it`s regional dishes and snacks: in the Tulipa restaurant or at the Churrasqueira do Pego you can taste the delights of the area, ranging from porc ribs, steak & chips to the famous cod, also known as bacalhau.
Other gastronomic references are the restaurants, Santa Isabel and Sabores da Cascata in the city center of Abrantes.
