Monte da Casa do João is a sustainable and exclusive farm stay designed and built for families and groups of friends looking for the ideal place for a short weekend getaway or a long and well-deserved summer vacation.

Located on the beautiful hills of the “Serra de Grândola”, very close to some of the most beautiful beaches on the Alentejo Coast, the farm offers all the space and comfort for groups of up to 14 people looking for a different and exclusive holiday, far away from the usual hustle and bustle of big hotels. A space linked to nature and to what the Alentejo region has best to offer. Its traditions, its people and culture, its gastronomy, incredible beaches and iconic landscapes.

Here, our guests can enjoy a sustainable and ecological lifestyle, where the energy is produced from renewable sources and where the cultivation of fields is done in a traditional way and with an unparalleled dedication, to provide only the most fresh and delicious products to everyone staying with us. You will also be able to learn how to make Alentejo bread, cheeses and sausages with wise people from the land. To top it all, the swimming pool and the ‘chill out’ zone literally in the middle of nature or our children’s playground delight the youngest and the oldest.

Monte da Casa do João has about 400 sqm, divided between an autonomous loft inside the main house – with a mezzanine, living room and bathroom – a kitchen, dining room and living room integrated in a wide ‘open space ‘with about 100 sqm and also 3 bedrooms – a suite, a double room and a room for children, with 3 bunk beds.

The property is rented on an exclusive basis, so the entire space of the house, gardens, swimming pool, amusement park and the remaining area surrounding the farm, will only be available to guests who book it, always with the constant support of our staff for a unique, memorable and absolutely relaxing holiday.
