In Sítio da Cumeada, in the middle of the Algarve, at the crossroads of several paths, between the sea and the mountains, neighboring the historic city of Tavira and the picturesque Cacela Velha, a new rural accommodation was created by the idea of ​​Grupo Pensão Agrícola. your name Hostel.

This former “road” sale and tavern started its activity in 1917. It was for decades an important place for the exchange and sale of regional agricultural products, as well as a dynamic pole of the social life of the people of the region, and is still very present. in the memories of the elders, the “famous dances” of Cumeada.

After 30 years of oblivion, new life was given to the spaces, to the objects found and to the memories of the times of activity of this old sale, skillfully integrated into the architectural project by Atelier RUA.
