We prepared a wide range of luxurious activities for our guests:  hot air balloon ride at sunrise over  the Guadiana River and the Great Alqueva Lake; Bike tours by the Vineyards. Jeep Safari in the property to observe the wild life that surrounds us; Wine Tours including a with a wine taste; and many other activities that will make you fall in love with “our” Alentejo.
Herdade do Sobroso offers a wide variety of traditional Alentejo dishes to be complemented with our wines. In the Herdade do Sobroso restaurant  you will be able to experience a selection  of Alentejo delicaties  such as Wild Boar Loin with Green Asparagus “Migas”, dogfish consumé with poached egg, Mouflon Stew, Wild Duck Rice with Charcuterie, Black Pork neck in Red Wine and Honey reduction,  Braised Black Pork cheeks with roasted Potato. For dessert, based in the traditional Alentejo bakery, we suggest “sericaia” (Portuguese Egg  soufflé), “Torta de laranja” (Orange Tart), “toucinho-do-céu” (Portuguese Almond pudding).
