Herdade do Reguenguinho

The Herdade do Reguenguinho born from the dream of creating something different: ‘A lot of senses.’ A house where there could be created spaces with elements that entertained the fantasy of the senses, to share living experiences.

The estate is characterized by its construction in clay, raw land, one of the oldest construction technologies, offering us great seismic resistante structures, comfortable thermal insulation, and minimal ecological footprint. The strong colours are a trademark on this entire unit; it is a house always full of joy and lots of smiles.

The building is composed of a main house, there is the ‘sixth sense’ suite. Three bedrooms and two suites are aligned on the first building; this was the former housing estate where we can still discover the firewood oven facade in the suite ‘oir’ or the old smokehouse fireplace in the suite ‘olor’. Between these two buildings are the gardens giving access to the pool breaking looking over the plain, where we can contemplate the sunset. In a more private area, the stilts, which provide unforgettable moments. The rooms are comfortable to stay all year. There are rooms with central heating, under floor heating, fireplaces, air conditioning as well as the construction being in clay, earth material, which gives us an exotic environment, due to its constitution.

In the Herdade, on rainy days, one can enjoy reading books, magazines and movies, music, and fireplaces that heat the soul on winter days.
