Douro Suites is located on the banks of the Douro, has a privileged location and a dream view. Our gardens lie in the waters of Douro river, offering you an unique experience of tranquility and contemplation, here you can explore all the surrounding natural beauty and enjoy various water sports, we have in our space a motor boat, a sailing boat, jet skis, canoe and paddle boards, we also offer you bikes and kartcross. At Douro Suites you may have all the facilities of a hotel, but the privacy of a “small” place… with the best Douro river views. The large gardens allow you to enjoy the space with privacy, there are several cozy nooks with sofas and chairs, an  indoor heated pool , a small beach and an infinity pool that blends in with the green of the gardens. Take a dip, relax and enjoy the day with the best scenery you can ask for. All rooms have river views and jacuzzi,some suites have a private patio with a small pool, envolved by the local vegetation. The Casa do Lago Suite has a privileged situation right over the river, has a private patio and a heated outdoor jacuzzi, just along the river bank. The decoration combines the space of a late 19th century house with the amenities of a contemporary interior, with a special care in details and comfort. At breakfast you have  warm bread, eggs, fresh juice from the oranges of the garden, local, organic, and fresh products in a huge selection of fresh fruits, cheeses, different types of milk and traditional sweets. At lunch you can try one of the suggestions of picnic baskets. Dinner is served on request, in the garden or in the common room. A space where you can quickly escape civilization but still feel at home.
