Built half-way up the slope of the Serra d´Ossa by hermit monks eager for the idela place to pray and lead a peaceful and quiet life, the Convento is nowadays a refined and confortable hotel. Surroudend by vast gardens and 600 acres of woodland, the Convent overlooks an inspiring and magnificient landscape. It´s mighty architectural trace, Florentine fountains and over 50.000 portuguese tiles of rare historical value enrich the whole space in a unique way. It´s 40 rooms, including some installed in the former cells, have private bathrooms, air conditioning, televison, etc… thus providing an ideal environment to relax or to work.
