At the gates of the Douro Valley, between the mountains of Marão and Montemuro and the edge of a small arm of the river water, the Houses of Pousadouro are a small gathering of rural houses whose set exudes the soul of a small village. Here, the Douro is so much more than just one of the finest wine-growing regions in the world. The landscape is dominated by water mirrors shrouded on the relaxed green of the slopes and the disperse housing that gives to this view a human element. Fusing harmoniously the traditional architecture with the contemporary interiors, the cottages offer large windows that enhance the connection to nature, a sophisticated mix of rustic, classic with modern. The Houses of Pousadouro is a stunning villa composed with three rustic houses. We offer a range of activities such as kayaking, paddle boards, swimming pool and boat trips leaving right from our private deck. The houses are a small drive away from all the main port wine wineries in Regua and Pinhao.
