Casa Valxisto – Country House

The Casa Valxisto – Country House, set in a rural village preserved Quintandona classified as Village of Portugal, located in Lagares, Penafiel.
It’s a project created with love and dedication to offer unique moments of leisure, either through the spaces and services, whit friendliness and quality.
We want the motto “My Country House” is true and that every guest feel at home and involved with the country setting. We create spaces with the simplicity of the rural environment and in harmony with the tones of flowers and fruits to choose the room decor, but with the comfort of today.
We emphasizing the practice of “Farm to table”, so we offer our guests meals whit several self-produced products, thus favoring the aromas and local flavors.
Our guests find a place to rest in contact with the wealth country.
It’s equipped with eight rooms and each room was decorated harmonizing rural elements with modern and sophisticated. Three of the bedrooms are prepared to receive people with reduced mobility and all are equipped with private bathroom and air conditioning.
In the restaurant of the house we offer a menu based on regional cuisine and works by reservation.

For hot days, the house has a terrace and outdoor pool with water fall for the vine of green wine, so guests can enjoy relaxing and refreshing moments sipping a single product, the green wine. There can never miss the reference to our fantastic massages with aromatherapy to provide a relaxing and rejuvenating stay.
