Harvest & Pruning
The harvest season normally begins in August and goes through to mid-October. Guests are welcome to participate or may just admire this rural traditional practice at the house vineyards. Throughout the year it is possible to see the different stages of the vines and walk around with the winegrowers getting privileged information and tips.

Local product tasting & Picnics
A very fertile region, bathed by the Atlantic Ocean and river Sado, offers a vast selection of exquisiteness’s that can be appreciated at the hotel, on board a comfortable sailing vessel or motorboat or even at the producer’s home.
From oysters to cheese, from the sea or from the land, many combinations are possible to have a true immersion into what local gastronomy consists of.
To make the most out of the gastronomical options available you can order your picnic basket and decide where and when to stop and have it.

Horses & Bikes
The property has its own horses available for guests who wish to ride in the Nature Park along the vineyards and through the cork oak woods. A beautiful animal in a beautiful place.
Those who prefer to make it more physical, can choose a BTT or E-bike available at the Hotel.

Boat Trips & Beach Club
The hotel offers a wide range of boat experiences. You can navigate and admire the gorgeous scenery of the Arrábida coastline with its turquoise waters and white sand beaches, visit the resident Dolphin community.
The beach club is a practical, yet tailor made service provided by the Hotel in which we take care of every detail for guests to enjoy the most of the experience. From sunshade to beach chairs, our lunch box with food and beverages and the privacy of a bespoke transfer on a private boat to a white sand beach.

Stand up paddle & Kayak
Discover the beauties of this coast in a different and sportive way by SUP or Kayak. On board these, you may visit areas unreachable by land, visit different beaches or paddle around to dock next to the restaurant of your choice.
Fins, diving mask and snorkelling equipment can be provided to maximize the experience.

Convent of Jesus and Convent of Arrábida
Two major landmarks in the history of Portuguese religious architecture.
The Church of Jesus is considered to be the first hall church built in Portugal, designed as a homogeneously illuminated space. The Convent of Jesus displays innovative solutions for the era.
Built on the southern slope of the mountain, overlooking the vast Atlantic Ocean from above, the Arrábida Convent, founded in 1542 by Franciscan friars, looks more like a work of nature than a man-made construction due to its modest architectural features and size.

The coast of Arrábida
This is the largest area of the Portuguese coast that is protected from the North which allows unique conditions for navigation and other activities that require calm waters.
Diving or snorkelling, water skiing or wake boarding are some other possibilities in the area to explore. All available from our front desk.
In Arrábida, you will also find Galapinhos Beach, recently elected the most beautiful beach in Europe.
