Casa das Palmeiras

Near the natural park of Serra da Estrela Mountain and less than 30 minutes from the main city Viseu, Casa das Palmeiras is a rural tourism with a pedagogic farm, located in the Dão wine region.
With three farm houses and one suite surrounded by nature and countryside, we benefit from a privileged location at the center region of Portugal with his own natural landscape, cultural, archaeological and gastronomic diversity.
With a sustainable look, this is where you will experience the day to day farm and where children have the opportunity to interact with animals or get the chance to pick their own organic vegetables, having a real experience in communion with nature and rural traditions.
With several places that invite you to forget the bustle of the city, enjoy the shadow of the old oaks near the Biological Pool, relax at the Palmeiras Lounge, help feed the animals in the end of the day or pick up a book at the Library.
Each House is prepared to receive up to 4 people, with a fully equipped kitchenette that allows to prepare your meals with comfort and taking advantage of the existing tables in the terraces and gardens. The suite welcomes up to 2 people and the regional breakfast is included in all stays. Pets are welcome!
With private parking, free Wi-Fi, laundry, air conditioning and home delivery service of meals, you can alternatively get to know the local gastronomy in the various typical restaurants in the surroundings, about 10min by car. On foot or by renting bicycles available on site, you can also discover the various pedestrian trails.
